Ice Cream sub par at absolute best. Lack of flavour, everything looks pastelly in colouring. I know food costs have shot right up, but IMO lack of creamy texture compared to how it was over the years. People would pay more to have the true creamy flavour that Di Rollo always was.

On another matter, I honestly cannot stand the service in here. The 3 times I’ve been, I honestly cannot say I’ve ever experienced good service. The young girls are seriously, some of the most miserable service staff I’ve ever come across.

I work in hospitality myself, and do hate to leave a review like this and really like to praise businesses (unless absolutely required) but I’ve tried 3 times in the last month going to ask Rollos, and every single time it’s been the same.

Shame, because I used to come here as a young girl myself with my parents. Many moons ago. The staff really are bringing down the shop. Regrettably

Best tasting Turkish Delight ice-cream ! Tempting selection of various classic and new flavours too. Customer service offered by the younger staff members at the ice cream counter was exceptional, they were very welcoming, polite and helpful. Highly recommended !

Fabulous ice cream and hand made chocolates. Highly recommended. Went with three friends so we sampled a wide range of goodies and all.agreed they were terrific

The ice cream is excellent however the Turkish delight lacks enough bits of Turkish delight! IMO. I found this with the rum and raisin flavour also, I don’t think I got one raisin in my scoop 🙁. Such a shameful as these are the essential flavourings. Superior ice cream to main opposition.

Without question or challenge Di Rollo's ice cream leaves Lucas melting, even in the shade. Di Rollo's flavours, creaminess, texture and quality is incredible, I could dream about this ice cream!
Musselburgh shop is lovely, a few wee tables at the back for sit in hot drinks and cakes.
They also sell in various places around East Lothian, one of the nicest being Sweet Bank on Dunbar High Street.
