We didn't even get to taste or purchase any wine because we were stopped by Edith upon trying to enter and told our children were not welcome as it was too busy. It very clearly says children are welcome on the website and it was not that busy at all (see photo). Edith was rude and condescending and made us feel very unwelcome. We drove far to have wine and a picnic but we ended up having neither, as Edith made it clear we were not welcome with our kids. It should be noted that we were at a different winery before this with our kiddos without a single incident or negative word to us.

Of all the wineries in Amador County, this falls in the middle. Mostly because they make so many blends. Is that because they can't perfect one type? Blends are hiding your flaws. Also they serve the reds cold, which hides the pros/cons of your wine.
The owner Chaim is a very nice person but his sales philosophy is odd. Could be because he is from Turkey, a culture reliant on bargains.
He has a wine listed as Value Wine and it's about the same price as the others.

Because you're getting a deal, you don't get a deal when you want to "bargain" for a deal (see photo). Like if we were going ask for a deal.......deal.
How do you start off with a deal? Lol
-They don't serve food to wine tasters
-Wine is mediocre
-Heavy pours, which isn't a bad thing all the time.
-You don't learn much about their wine
-Grounds are beautiful for events
-There is so much potential that is lost here I can't help but want to help.
I enjoy 99% of wineries, so I did enjoy this one just because I love wine.

If you only have time to visit one winery in the area, make it here. A lot of area wineries make decent single varietals, but nobody comes close on blends, which I prefer for their taste and complexity. And as an added bonus, the owners Chaim and Elisheva and all their staff will treat you like family.

Stellar couple and a beautiful winery/tasting room. Chaim is so knowledgeable and passionate, both qualities make his wines absolutely superb. This winery alone is worth the trip to Amador County!

Love this winery. They have a tasting room outside of Plymouth open Thursday thru Monday. Winery is in My. Alkum. A wondrous setting overlooking the valley of vineyards. Owners who care about the land, their customers and making great wine.

One of the best places in the area for wine. Owners are super wonderful and very interesting to sit and chat with. Great wine and better people.
