Ol' Skool Italian restaurant that's been around for decades! Years ago when I first came, my companion remarked, "Why are there nothing but old people?" ‍♂️ Don't know, but I trust the seniors when it comes to good food! I was impressed back then, and I'm just as impressed with my recent visit. This time, there were still old people, but there were also a lot of business folks out for lunch. Really good choice! I had the Lasagna, while my friend this time got the Linguine alle Vongole with the white sauce. Portions are big, they didn't skimp on the bread, came by to check on our cups of water often so we didn't die of thirst. I mean, it was all great! Best of all, I didn't take pictures, but the decor is really nice, trying to go for that sort of Vineyard emotion. Love it! Nice restaurant, nice folks, and great food!

EXTREMELY disappointed. I got the Bay shrimp dish, their website showed large shrimp. I got home only to find the world tiniest shrimp. Not only that, they tasted flavorless, rubbery, and boiled. To make things worse the Alfredo sauce had zero flavor it tasted like straight heavy cream. Who ever made my dish needs to be taught how to make an american Alfredo. Shame on the executive chef. You know it’s bad when olive garden can make a better Alfredo sauce and theirs is awful.

Ordered the Fettuccini with meat sauce and meatballs on the side (extra $3.60). Was served sausage together with the pasta. Called the server’s attention so she came to the table with a saucer and fork then scooped out the sausages. She returned with the meatballs and plopped them on the plate with my pasta. Fettuccini was almost overcooked, meat sauce was bland. Must be a different cook. I tasted my son’s order of seafood ravioli and it was not how I remembered. The side order of grilled chicken was sad-looking. You still get a basket of hot garlic bread, again these tasted different.

My family & I used to come here every so often throughout the years when I was a kid. I’ve also been here, here & there as an adult but hadn’t been here in years since I don’t live near the area anymore. Anyway, recently I had their Di Pilla’s Special Pizza & it was still pretty good like it was years ago but a little different than before?. I’ve also had their Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken & their simple fresh baked bread as well as their Lasagna in the past which were all really good?. This is a family owned restaurant that’s been around for years & passed on generation after generation.

Nice low key spot.... food was great ? ? Tesla's coming back for a second, the chicken parmesan was excellent. I'm thinking about the go back tomorrow and get the same thing again. Thank you guys for the good food

Di Pilla’s Italian Ristorante (est 1967) is family owned and run Italian restaurant nestled in SGValley. They offer the best and authentic family recipes. Truly a hidden gem!!

Its interior design and layout were modest and spacious, respectively. It’s Italian atmosphere and vibe makes you forget you’re in Rosemead but in Italy.
Their menu was vast. It was my first time here and was warmly greeted by a female staff. I had 10 pieces of warm fresh bread x butter, water and Chicken Linguine w/ marinara sauce for dinner. It was divine in taste and texture not to mention refreshing.

As for the prices, it’s fairly competitive. Staff were assiduous, affable and professional. Rear parking available. The only downside was their dinner operating hours. Other than that, I had a good and delightful experience. I enjoyed my food. Overall, I highly recommend this Italian ristorante.

Thos place is magical. The warmth and the decor of the place completes a great dining experience. The service is always top notch, and the food is always great. The pastas are must try.
