I am on here to give my review of Resurrection Cemetery in Rosemead, Ca. I wish I could put a ZERO because the groundsmen do not keep up with the maintenance of the grass. They destroy it by not watering and then adding weed killer so the grass looks burnt. I’m disgusted of their so called,”policies when decorating for any Holiday.” I’ve been going to visit my Dad since 7/2006 and I play music that he enjoyed well… now my mom passed in 7/2020 and I visit and play music which helps my grieving process. Now I have security watching me at all times to see if I’m playing music and they had the audacity to tell me to turn off my music! There’s people that come and drink and have picnics at the cemetery and leave their food wrappers and I personally pick up after them but yet they are not told a word. If you have this,”policy” in place then one for all and all for one! Please do not just select certain decorations to remove and leave others . I put my Easter decorations and they were totally removed so I went back to decorate with just Easter eggs and again they were all removed! Now I’m being targeted and this is called, Harassment.” I now have several security guards driving by me while I visit my parents, uncles, aunts and friends and I’m upset that they aren’t allowing me to visit and grieve as I should. This cemetery and staff have no empathy but my parents chose this place as their final resting place. I’ve gone to Queen of Angels Cementery , Inglewood and Rose Hills Cementery and decorations are allowed and nobody is bothered because of them. Why is it so difficult for this place to understand our culture, beliefs and traditions They give so many excuses but please have them put a HUGE sign at entrance stating ski decorations allowed for anyone and this will go for everyone not just a few people. I’m not the only person that feels this way. Please read Resurrection Cementery’s reviews and you will understand. I wish I never had to step into this place!

It's almost impossible to find the right way to make a complaint with the Archdiocese. When you finally find the person in charge, you'll be told there will be an investigation in regards your complaint. The truth of the matter is: they take NO action and the priests no about it. No wonder people are leaving the faith.

This is our Creator’s church on earth. It is absolutely outstanding in every conceivable way. I was raised as an atheist. Coming to know the Lord, and developing a personal relationship with Him, is infinitely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am blessed beyond words to have the incredible honor and privilege of being Catholic.

Thank you to Father Kevin Rettig our Pastor at Holy Angels Parish in Arcadia and Father Blaise Brockman our Associate Pastor and Deacon Arnie and Barbara Ferries our Pastoral Coordinator and all the volunteers for allowing us to attend Mass online, drive thru, outdoor and soon indoor Mass starting Saturday May 15. I am also thankful to Father Kevin for his excellent homilies he posts on our FB Holy Angel page and you tube and also Father Blaise for his excellent homilies online at eleven o'clock on Sundays. During the pandemic we are protected by their spiritual grace and outpouring of Gods love. I want to also thank the Deacons for working with the priests and our loving coordinator Barbara Ferries and all the volunteers for their never ending support to make all programs coordinate peacefully. Also a big hug to Barbara at 730am Mass and her Mary for being so kind. Thank you again.

Terrible and unjust treatment of the community of IHM by the archdiocese, and by katy perry. Greedy archdiocese and greedy katy perry. God will judge all those who have unjustly treated these dear Sisters. God bless you IHM sisters. The archdiocese is WRONG. Gomez is WRONG. We will keep you in our prayers always IHM Sisters. OUR STORY is the TRUTH.
