I purchased the Golden Designs Dynamic Cold Therapy Barrel (304 Stainless Steel Cold Plunge) along with the Dynamic Cold Therapy 0.6 HP Cold/Heat System, and both units I received were defective.The barrel leaked due to a crack in the steel and failures at the welding joints, leading to rust (see photo. The compact design around the affected area makes it impossible to repair.

Golden Designs suggested caulking as a fix, which I tried, but the unit continued to leak and lose water (a plumber was suspect of the caulking and, after several weeks, located the crack). It’s a fundamentally flawed design, and I would never recommend this product unless you're prepared for endless frustration.

The Cold/Heat System is temperamental and unreliable. Sometimes it works and other times it is noisy and unpredictable.

After extensive back and forth, Golden Designs offered me $1,500 to void the warranty or required me to pay for return shipping (they had already replaced one unit but refused to replace the second unless I covered transportation costs, which were prohibitively expensive). I had no choice but to accept the $1,500. Despite my efforts to repair the crack, the design makes it impossible to fix.

Avoid this product and company unless you want a major headache!

I purchased a Dynamic Sauna from Costco in Canada in 2012. All of a sudden wouldn't work at all. I found this company online, was able to give the Model # and Serial # of my Sauna and they had the exact part I needed, a replacement power supply. It arrived quickly and my husband and I were able to plug it in without hiring an electrician to do it. The company responded to all of my questions quickly and efficiently. My Sauna works better than ever! 5 Stars Plus!!!!

Purchased via their Craigslist Sales Person and he was very responsive. I placed the order on a Thursday and they material arrived at my home on Monday. That was the fastest delivery I have ever seen for a shipment this large. The factory is in CA and I live in AZ. The sauna was actually very easy to build. It suggests to use 2 people and I would suggest that as well but I did the build by myself and was sore the next day.

I am waiting for the electrician to finish up the install so I can set up the heater and will follow up again when the sauna is live.

So far, no complaints and service has been great.

I have been using for the past month and have been loving the sauna. I have been getting it to around 200 degrees with extreme humidity pouring water on the rocks.

I would give zero stars if I could. Delivery company was great. There was no damage to the boxes upon delivery. Once I opened the boxes - 3 out of the 4 sides were majorly damaged. I contacted Costo who had the manufacturer contact me. They said they would send me 2 of the sides that were damaged but not all 3. I suggested a few options for them to resolve the issue and they will not because they are saying it was damaged during shipping - which it was NOT. They said I could ship the whole thing back however, its heavy and I already paid someone to take it down to our lower level so not interested in taking more time of work for pickup and paying someone again to take it up the stairs.

I have never had this much trouble - it's ridiculous. I will work with Costco and submit a claim to our credit card company for reimbursement.

Photos are not all and certainly don't show how bad the damage really is.

Enjoying our Sauna from Golden Designs. Easy to put together and puts out good heat!
Our Sauna arrived with a side glass panel shattered I reached out to Golden Designs via email and they immediately took action to get a replacement sent to us.
Rosa was extremely helpful and understanding best customer service ever!!!!
It is refreshing to know there are still businesses that appreciate their customers and make things right.

I ordered my sauna thru wayfair, arrived on time, NO DAMAGE on the box. Had to unbox it outside and bring it in piece by piece. When my friend and I removed the protection over the roof part the wood was broken off. I emailed wayfair and they told me to contact the manufacturer which I did and the manufacturer Karla Torres told me they can't replace it because it's shipping damage.

The customer service with both companies was pretty good. Its not easy to stay calm when you spend a lot of money and you feel you are getting the run around. I have not put the sauna together yet but I will this week but can't finish till I get the broken piece. Not sure if they will be sending a new roof or just a piece of wood.

Ok so I got my sauna put together and it's fantastic. Customer service is amazing. Kind and patient. If you have been thinking of getting one, stop thinking and just go get one. This is my gym room.

I purchased my sauna through Costco a few years back. I love the unit and when my remote stopped working, I contacted the company and they promptly sent me a replacement. My unit is still going strong and I love that the company takes pride in their units.

UPDATE: Golden Design's reply instructs me to call yet another customer service person. If calling them did any good, I'd have been sent the part many weeks ago. I am done going that route, calling over and over and over, and sitting and waiting for a part that never arrives. It is curious, though, that I just got an email saying they're going to send "a complete door handle." I never asked for a door handle and don't need one. Too bad they won't send the part that's missing.

Purchased one of their saunas more than a month ago. It arrived missing one small part that probably cost them 5-cents. I called Golden Designs Inc three times and each time was assured they would send the missing part, and each time, no one ever sent the part. So now I will return the sauna due to missing part, or if the deadline for return is passed, I'll have to file a chargeback on my credit card for incomplete item sent. Too bad they didn't bother to send the 5-cent piece, but trying to get them to send the missing part has consumed way more of my time than I ever should've been forced to spend. They could've stuck it in a 63-cent envelope 1+ month ago but couldn't be bothered.

On another note: The 300 lb freight pallet was left at the end of my driveway, right at the road. I am LUCKY no one stole it! The box says not to accept the delivery until inspecting to make sure it is not damaged. The joke of this is that there is ZERO heads up that a delivery is even going to happen. I was stunned to come home one day to find it sitting there at the road, for the taking.
