So far the best of the 3 EATALY Dallas restaurants.
Service was excellent and unpretentious. Menu was refreshingly different. Nice wine list.
Burrata con Caponata was a great and interesting combination.
Pastas were served piping hot as they should be.
Agnoletti del Pin was light, tender and yummy.
Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe was perfect. Just as it should be. Al dente and delicious.

1st, this is my opinion on this reastuant part only, but the food was not worth it. The grocery store part IS worth going to. I did rate Eatily itself seperate. Very awesome atmosphere and nice staff, but the product was lacking in Il Pataio.
Drink: It gave me flavored sparkling water. I did not taste the juice or alcohol. I did not even finish it and just stuck with the tap water. It was so unbearable, I don't even remember the name of it and had to look it up. It was the Lampone Blossom. I'm starting to think I got the wrong drink as it was supposed to come with an edible flower. Mine had a mint leaf in it.
App: foccacia pomodoro mozzarella. This was the most positive part of the dining experience, but I still have mixed feelings. The bread was baked well, but they need to take mozzarella outta the name. A tomato sneezed on this, and someone dropped a quarter or a mozzarella stick on it before it went in the oven. I felt it was more like a dinner roll. Should have been served with dipping olive oil/herbs or a simple marinara or even some butter. I did eat over 50% of it, as once again, it was baked to perfection. But check out my pic, and you can see I'm not exaggerating about the lack of mozzarella.
Main: tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Just no. The pasta was extra al dente extreme. I literally had 2 bites. I was happy about the small portion as I wasted the food. It lacked flavor, cream, etc. I can say I tasted the black pepper. I got second-hand embarrassment as I know they are supposed to be hand-made fresh pasta, but I would have preferred the chef to go grab pasta from the shelf to cook.
I wanted dessert, but I was not willing to wish it. Overall, I should have gone to the pizza and sandwich bar. This fresh pasta, in my opinion, was overrated.

Tonnarelli Cacio d Pepi - black truffle 3g on top.
First time and loved it! Good portion. Thick, slightly square noodles. Al dente to make you eat slower. Good music and service. It's fun to see the kitchen while you eat.

We had a group of 11 of us and our server was great getting us started and helping us order with different recommendations. The only downside was he said he could only take 4 credit cards which I’m not sure if that’s accurate or not so it took us awhile to figure out what we wanted to do with the check.

Now for the food. My recommendation is don’t come hungry. The portion was so small it was disappointing and the flavor was ok. The pasta itself did have good texture but the sauce and little bit of meat were forgettable.

I tried some of the pizza my friend ordered and there was nothing special about that as well.

I don’t mind paying money for quality food and flavor but we all felt like this was not worth it at all. We still left hungry (and I’m a pretty thin guy so that speaks a lot).

Should have listened to the reviews and stayed away, but we were in Eataly over lunch and ended up needing to eat.

It took about 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us after we were seated. When they did we were asked with a mumble what kind of water we wanted. It took another 5 minutes for our server to come by and take our order. We were rushed while our order was taken and didn't feel like we could really interact with our server or ask questions.

Our appetizers arrived and we still weren't yet given utensils. That was after multiple SA and server visits before this time. We tried flagging down multiple people before we finally got our server who plopped down a stack of utensils in the middle of the table.

Our pasta arrived but there was a mixup with the order. Instead of placing dishes in front of each person who ordered them, they were quickly auction offed one by one. When we didn't answer quickly enough, they were just placed in the middle of the table. Slowly I began to realize half the dishes weren't ours. Then another server arrived with the correct order and started to auction off each dish again. Employees were getting visibly mad and started exchanging words. In the chaos, we ended up with one dish that we never ordered. Once again we had to flag down someone who didn't even acknowledge us and straight up ignore us.

We finally ended up with our correct dishes. 2 of 4 were okay. But I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else and pay 35 bucks a person to get actual service and a better dining environment.

Unbelievable food! One could go broke shopping and eating here but well worth it! Now
I have always believed myself to be a self proclaimed Tiramisu expert/jinkie. Have had tiramisu from Little Italy in New York to California and in Italy itself. Their newly released version here is now my all time favorite. Never had it presented to me in the fashion they do here but my lord! An absolute must try and Eataly is definitely a destination!

Eatily is the most accessible quality Italian location in Dallas.

The food and atmosphere are incredible. I love everything about this eating experience. From the decor to the apps , pasta, cured meats, specials, wine
I could go on and on. Great for kids too, my son rarely eats all his food but always finishes his butter noodles at Eatily.

We had the Malloreddus all a Campidanese which was delicious.

We love the store and Terra so we decided to try this restaurant. The food is honestly average and overpriced. We got the truffle pasta, the bolognese and the kale salad with Brussels sprouts. The salad was good but didn’t have many Brussels sprouts that I could see. (8/10 rating) the pastas were pretty average(5/10). Maggios, cane rosso, and Cheesecake Factory honestly have Better pastas than this restaurant. Overall the food is absolutely not worth our $100 dollar bill. Should’ve gone to Joey Dallas instead.
